Embark on a rewarding journey as a Reliability Engineering Co-Op at IKO Industries. This hands-on position focuses on enhancing maintenance procedures while contributing to high-quality roofing production. IKO Industries is looking for a dedicated engineering student specializing in Mechanical, Electrical, Manufacturing, or Chemical Engineering for this 12-month placement. You'll collaborate with various teams to develop maintenance strategies and ensure asset reliability. This role offers practical experience in a fast-paced production environment. Key Responsibilities:
- Optimize preventive maintenance processes with engineers
- Coordinate and document safety-related work orders
- Develop spare parts lists and improve documentation
- Assist in reliability analysis and reporting tasks
- Update asset information in the CMMS system
- Current enrollment in an accredited engineering program
- Commitment to a minimum of 12 months
- Basic mechanical and electrical knowledge required
- Proficiency in MS Excel and Word applications
- Strong organizational and critical thinking abilities
