Fourth Class Data Centre Engineer

Monitor critical data centre infrastructure as a Fourth Class Stationary Engineer in Merritt, British Columbia, using HVAC and electrical systems expertise onsite.Bell seeks a Fourth Class Stationary Engineer for continuous Data Centre Operations. You will operate mechanical and supporting electrical infrastructure, maintain facility records, and respond to alarms. The position requires rotating shifts and coordination with Facilities, Security, contractors, vendors, and OEM service providers.Key Responsibilities:
Monitor chillers, pumps, cooling towers, HVAC, generators, and UPS systemsComplete facility rounds, inspections, readings, and condition checksMonitor BAS, BMS, and EPMS systems and respond to alarmsDocument preventative maintenance, adjustments, inspections, and minor repairsMaintain logs, shift records, work orders, and maintenance documentationRequirements:
Valid provincial Fourth Class Stationary Engineer or Power Engineer certificationExperience maintaining mechanical plant or mission-critical facility infrastructureWorking knowledge of HVAC, chilled-water systems, pumps, and cooling equipmentAbility to interpret alarms, drawings, procedures, and technical documentationAvailability for rotating days, evenings, nights, weekends, and holidaysApply your certification, troubleshooting capability, and facility operations knowledge to support reliable Bell Data Centre performance in Merritt.
