About the Role

The Senior Resource and Mine Planning Manager for the Central Canada region will be responsible for accurately assessing and estimating aggregate reserves and resources, ensuring annual reporting and filings meet SEC SK-1300 compliance. The senior manager will lead a team of resource professionals and collaborate with other key functional groups and business units to provide operational support, conduct geological assessments of properties, and develop mining plans that maximize resource utilization, reduce costs, and ensure operational safety. What You'll Accomplish

Act as a Qualified Person (QP) to manage and track aggregate reserves and resources for the Central Canada region, including annual reporting/filing in compliance with SEC SK-1300 regulations. Lead mine‑planning development in collaboration with Operations and other functional groups, producing short‑term and long‑term plans that optimize stripping, extraction, and progressive rehabilitation. Collaborate with local business units and functional teams on the implementation of mining plans and monitor progress. Lead a team of resource professionals and manage consultants and contractors for geological investigations and model building. Provide operational support to local business units, including development and review of annual operational plans and troubleshooting. Work closely with Land Management to identify and map new resource opportunities and lead due diligence. Support all Land and Environmental permitting processes. Collaborate with safety, manufacturing, and operations groups to ensure safe mining design and compliance with all acts and regulations. Routinely visit and inspect site operations, addressing geotechnical and slope stability risks. Communicate, improve, and adhere to health, safety, and environmental policies in all work environments, promoting a culture of safety. What We’re Looking For

Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in mining engineering, geological engineering, geo‑sciences, or a related field. Minimum 10 years of work experience in the mining or construction materials industry. Professional engineering or geoscience certification (must possess P.Eng or P.Geo). Proficiency in resource estimation, mine planning, and geological software (Vulcan or Carlson preferred).GIS mapping (ArcGIS) and 3‑D modelling skills. Solid project management, self‑starter, disciplined, and process‑oriented. Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills with the ability to create professional presentations. Knowledge of mine‑planning regulations and best practices. Willingness to travel to sites 20‑40% of the time (mostly day trips). Commitment to safety protocols and proper use of approved Personal Protective Equipment (PPE). What We Offer
