Neurology Rehabilitation Physiotherapist Position

Join a dedicated rehabilitation team as a Physiotherapist specializing in neurology and oncology. This role focuses on patient-centered care, assessments, and team collaboration to support stroke recovery. In this role, the Physiotherapist will be integral to the inpatient stroke and oncology rehabilitation team. Providing assessments, personalized care plans, and patient education are key responsibilities. The Physiotherapist will also evaluate progress, identify necessary assessments, and actively engage in interprofessional team meetings and quality improvement initiatives. Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct thorough assessments of patients' needs
• Develop and implement comprehensive care plans
• Educate patients and families on rehabilitation processes
• Evaluate patient progress and modify care as needed
• Collaborate in team meetings and quality initiatives

• Accredited Physiotherapy degree with registration in Ontario
• Minimum of one year clinical experience in neurological rehab
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Competence in evidence-based physiotherapy practices
• Intermediate proficiency in French preferred
