The position: We are looking for an experienced and motivated Pro Shop Supervisor to support the daily operations of the Pro Shop and assist in event execution. Reporting to the Pro Shop Manager , you will oversee seasonal staff, ensure high service standards, and contribute to a seamless guest experience. You will also assist with marketing efforts, inventory management, and the execution of golf tournaments, league nights, and corporate outings.

What you'll be doing:

• Event & Program Assistance: Assist in planning and executing golf tournaments, league nights, and corporate outings, ensuring smooth logistics and guest satisfaction.
• Staff Supervision & Training: Recruit, train, and manage 10-25 seasonal staff members while maintaining high service standards.
• Pro Shop Operations: Oversee daily functions, customer interactions, and sales transactions to maximize efficiency and profitability.
• Inventory Management & Ordering: Assist in tracking stock levels, managing vendor communications, and maintaining accurate inventory records.
• Social Media & Marketing: Promote Pro Shop events, create marketing materials, and manage social media engagement.
• Golf Course Management & Software Support: Maintain and update golf course management systems to ensure accurate transactions and reporting.

What you need to be successful:

• High school diploma or equivalent required; post-secondary education in Event Management, Hospitality, or Business preferred.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in event planning, hospitality, or program management, with at least 1 year in a supervisory role.
• Proven ability to lead and train a team, ensuring exceptional customer service.
• Experience with sales strategies, financial management, and guest relations.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, event management software, and point-of-sale systems.
• Valid Alberta Class 5 Driver's License.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and event schedules.
• Strong organizational and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.

Availability:

• Seasonal full-time position from April to mid-October.
• Must be available for evening and weekend shifts, especially during peak events.

Compensation:

• Competitive salary based on experience.
