Position Summary
GES 120 Human Geography. This course deals with the explanation of human placement in, and interaction with, the natural workplace; assessment of concepts, processes, and patterns as related to the distribution of human phenomena, including economic activity and settlement types.
Position Requirements
- Successful applicants must hold at a minimum an MA degree in Geography or a closely related discipline, with relevant expertise in Human Geography.
- They must be able to demonstrate an ability to teach the course in question.
- Those applicants with PhDs in Geography, as well as those enrolled in a PhD program in Geography, will be given preference over those with the MA degree.
- Preference will be given to those having previous experience teaching this course.
- Experience managing classroom and online technologies used by the University of Regina (including UR Courses [Moodle]) will be beneficial.
