Overhead Door Co of Kitchener - Waterloo is a family owned and operator company since 1987, seeking to hire a 4 month contract position. We are a fun, fast-paced, professional company that host company events from time to time.
This is a contract position that can potentially lead into a part-time or full-time position. The position will be evaluated at the end of the four-month contract to ensure that there is a need to have a permanent part-time or full-time worker.

## Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented Administrative Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will provide support to ensure efficient operation of the office.
## Responsibilities
- Perform clerical duties, including data entry, filing, and document organization
- Manage phone calls and correspondence (e.g., emails, letters, packages)
- Assist in bookkeeping tasks using SAge 50 Canadian Edition
- Maintain office supplies inventory and place orders when necessary
- Welcome visitors and direct them to the appropriate personnel
- Coordinate and schedule appointments and meetings
- Assist with organizing and maintaining files and records
- Provide general administrative support to staff
## Qualifications
- Proven experience as an administrative assistant or relevant role
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)
- Knowledge of Sage 50 for basic bookkeeping tasks
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Familiarity with office equipment and phone systems
- Ability to prioritize tasks and work independently
- Punctual and on-time
