What you’ll do:
Our Regional Sales Manager will be tasked with levelling up our sales team through training, development, collaborative efforts and direct support. You will lead a team through the sales process and understand your region to ensure we are identifying every opportunity. You will be vital to growing our sales team and ensuring we maximize our reach within the territory using effective and sustainable sales strategies. This role consists of:
- Establish adequate coverage for each geography with the right type/number of salespeople on your team
- Understand current and past market conditions to set us up to achieve market share and used equipment sales results
- Setting clear expectations on sales goals / pipeline / customer experience with your team and coach to success.
- Coaching your team to help our customers find the right equipment to make the most of the land they work with so we can grow together.
- Complete on farm calls with your sales team on the road to help build customer relationships and coach on sales skills
- Stay informed on John Deere product, financing programs and technology to make sure they are presented to the right customers at the right time.
Requirements
What you bring:
- 3+ years of equipment sales experience
- 1-3 years of leading a sales team would be considered an asset
- A drive to develop business and identify unique opportunities to generate revenue
- A competitive spirit that strives to set and achieve goals
- Problem solving skills and the ability to come up with creative solutions
- A farming background or understanding of the agriculture industry in Saskatchewan would be considered an asset
