This hybrid role allows for meaningful contributions from any location. FinDev Canada is on the lookout for a Senior Investment Officer to spearhead blended finance initiatives. The ideal candidate will bring 8 to 12 years of experience in transaction origination, with a strong focus on emerging markets. Your advanced skills in finance, organization, and communication will be pivotal in shaping impactful investments and mentoring the Investment Team. A Master’s degree combined with fluency in both official languages is essential. Key Responsibilities:
- Lead development of blended finance transactions
- Structure and manage impactful funding solutions
- Collaborate with partners to enhance investment opportunities
- Mentor staff on concessional finance principles
- Execute accurate reporting of blended finance activities
- 8-12 years of experience in DFI/MDB or banking
- Minimum 5 years of blended finance management
- Master’s degree in relevant field
- Fluent in English and French; additional Spanish is a plus
- Strong networking and communication skills
