Reporting to the Director, Indigenous Relations, this role is a trusted advisor who strengthens relationships between the City and Indigenous peoples, communities, and partners. You will lead research, provide strategic advice, and support the development of policies, programs, and initiatives that advance meaningful engagement and reconciliation. Working across teams and with external partners, you will bring insight, build connections, and help shape thoughtful, informed decisions that impact the community.
What You Bring - Strong knowledge of Indigenous cultures, traditions, protocols, and current issues across government levels- Experience developing policy, strategy, and recommendations using research and analysis
- Proven ability to build and maintain relationships with diverse stakeholders and leaders
