About the Role

The Global Product Director or Associate Director – Pipeline Commercialization & Launches will play a pivotal role in advancing Knight’s growth strategy by leading the commercialization planning and launch readiness of key pipeline assets across the region.

This individual will define and execute global commercialization strategies, including brand planning, pricing and market access, launch excellence, forecasting, and lifecycle management. Working closely with regional and local stakeholders, the Global Product Director will ensure alignment across functions and geographies, enabling successful product launches and maximizing asset value throughout the product lifecycle.

This is a highly cross‑functional role requiring strong strategic thinking, operational excellence, and the ability to influence stakeholders across diverse markets.

The position follows a hybrid work model , with one day per week in the Montreal headquarters for employees based in the Montreal area.

Responsibilities

Pipeline Commercialization & Launch Excellence

  • Develop and drive Global Brand Plans and Launch Readiness Plans, establishing critical success factors and ensuring organizational readiness across functions.
  • Coordinate global launch teams across multiple functions and geographies to accelerate time to market and maximize peak sales potential.
  • Partner with country teams to adapt and execute global strategies across medical, commercial, and market access functions, ensuring synergies with established businesses.
  • Maintain and update business cases for key pipeline assets, incorporating evolving market insights and forecasts.
  • Drive consistent launch excellence standards.

Portfolio Management

  • Drive cross‑functional alignment on pipeline development plans, including timelines, resources, and cost estimates.
  • Identify critical path activities, resource constraints, and risks impacting launch timing or commercial success.
  • Work closely with Regulatory, Quality, Medical, and local teams to develop product forecasts.
  • Partner with Alliance Management to ensure commercialization strategies align with partner expectations and requirements.
  • Support lifecycle management initiatives to maximize long‑term asset performance and value creation.

Qualifications

  • 10 years in pharmaceutical marketing, sales, and new product launches.
  • Product management experience in primary care and/or specialty care.
  • Multi‑country launch experience (LATAM, Brazil, Canada) is an asset.
  • Strong project management and cross‑functional leadership skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Experience in forecasting, business case development, and data‑driven decision‑making.
