Lead Search Systems Engineer - Agentic & Production-Ready

Mercor

Mercor is seeking engineers who have shipped production search systems and are deeply thoughtful about requirements and optimizations. You will discuss how you’ve improved search quality, evaluation methods, and tradeoffs with real-world impact. Bring war stories—the messier and more specific, the better.

The interview is a 25-minute conversational session with no coding or take-home tasks, focused on how you think about search quality and system design in production environments.
