5th Class Power Engineer Opportunity

Join BGIS as a 5th Class Power Engineer, a role centered around efficient facility maintenance and proactive troubleshooting. Ensure health and safety compliance in all operations. In this mid-entry level role, you'll assist other technicians, perform maintenance on mechanical and electrical systems, and address service requests. Your ability to effectively communicate and maintain client relations will play a key role in this position's success. BGIS values a strong understanding of safety practices and encourages a proactive approach to maintenance. Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in facility component repairs and inspections
• Perform preventative maintenance on mechanical systems
• Comply with environmental, health and safety requirements
• Maintain accurate records of work completed
• Manage service requests from initiation to completion

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• At least 3 years’ experience in facility maintenance
• Knowledge of building codes and safety practices
• Strong client service and urgent response skills
• Ability to work shifts and on-call as required
