IT Development Practices Coordinator

Job Responsibility: As IT Development Practices Coordinator, your primary role is to represent the Personal Services IT Division in dealings with decision-making bodies responsible for Desjardins Group's development practices. You direct and guide work to meet objectives. Coordination is critical. You interact with many stakeholders working in a wide range of fields. More specifically, you will be required to:

• Represent the Personal Services IT Division's reality and interests as part of an integrated multi-year development practices plan
• Assess efforts and ensure that sound development practices are implemented for division teams
• Contribute to committees on various subjects, including standardizing programming languages, tools and the development framework, coverage, code performance and security, and security requirements and risks (managing secrets, training developers, streamlining ETL tools)
• Support the Personal Services IT Division with its various mandates
• Lead and serve as a systems specialist for your unit and other practitioners

What you bring to the table

• Bachelor's degree in computer science or a related field
• A minimum of six years of relevant IT experience
• Please note that other combinations of qualifications and relevant experience may be considered
• Knowledge of French is required
• Knowledge of advanced development practices
