The Opportunity

Key Responsibilities
- Support month-end and year-end close processes, including journal entries, account reconciliations, and financial reporting.
- Maintain balance sheet schedules, bank reconciliations, and fixed asset records to ensure accuracy and compliance.
- Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis, providing meaningful insights to business leaders.
- Partner with internal departments to investigate discrepancies, resolve issues, and support day-to-day accounting needs.
- Contribute to process improvements and help strengthen financial controls and reporting practices.
- Post-secondary education in Accounting, Finance, Commerce, or a related discipline.
- CPA designation in progress is considered an asset.
- 1-3 years of accounting experience with exposure to financial analysis and reporting.
- Strong proficiency in Excel and experience working with ERP systems.
- Excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage competing priorities.
