Activity Expert

Job Responsibility:

Position Summary: The Activities Expert is a multifaceted role focused on enhancing the guest experience by assisting with booking activities and rentals at Base Camp, as well as leading diverse resort activities. This position requires a flexible approach, involving both base camp responsibilities and hand-on-involvement in a variety of activities. The ideal candidate will play a key role in delivering exceptional guest experiences, ensuring seamless daily operations, and supporting activity scheduling and coordination.

Hourly rate for this position is $17.40 per hour.

Major Duties & Responsibilities:

• Assist guests in planning and booking a wide variety of activities offered by Base Camp, including tube rentals, mini golf and other sports equipment, horseback riding, kids' programs, and more.
• Provide information to guests regarding available tours and activities, ensuring clear communication of pricing, availability, and safety information.
• Operate the retail component of Base Camp by managing stock levels, conducting inventory counts, and operating a POS system
• Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming retail space and outdoor sports center for guests.
• Perform daily cash outs.
• Assist in coordinating Base Camp and activity operations
• Support seamless operations by rotating between Base Camp duties and on-location activities as needed.
• Ensure that guest service standards are met, and that health and safety protocols are followed in all areas of responsibility.
• Promote a friendly, approachable, and knowledgeable environment for guests.
• Co-operate and accept other assignments as and when required.
