Healthy Families Program Supervisor

The Healthy Families Program Supervisor will work under the general guidance of the Executive Director and under the direct supervision of the Director of Healthy Families Program on matters related to the development, implementation, and day-to-day operations of the Healthy Families Program.  The Healthy Families Program Supervisor provides direct supervision to the Head Start, Early Childhood Outreach Coordinator, Support Worker, and Jordans Principle Service Coordinators.

Knowledge and Experience Required:
Provide day-to-day support and supervision to the Early Childhood Outreach Coordinator, Jordans Principle Service Coordinators, Program Clerk and Support staff to ensure effective and efficient delivery of programs as outlined in the Healthy Families Program Strategic and Operations Plan.
Ability to collaborate & coordinate the nursing assessments with the nurses & home visitor for assignments
Ability to provide support and direction on individual cases
Ability to reconcile Jordans Principle monthly financial reporting for audit purposes.
Provide supervision to individual home visitors, reviewing client care plans, and reviewing month-end reports
Collaborate and coordinate with other professionals and agencies in the delivery of services to pre- and post-natal clients
Maintain records and collect data for evaluation and planning as required, and submit
Knowledge about Jordans Principle and its purpose

QUALIFICATIONS:
Possess either a bachelors degree in human services or an equivalent combination of experience and education
Knowledge and experience as a supervisor are an asset.
Knowledge of methodologies and experience with in-home services
Extensive knowledge and experience working with parents and families
Knowledge and experience in teamwork, interagency, and interdisciplinary approaches
Knowledge of community resources
Strong organizational and administrative skills
