Quantitative Research Engineer
A leading investment organization is seeking an analytically minded professional to join a growing team focused on enhancing investment decision-making through data, technology, and advanced analytics.
The role will work closely with investment professionals across multiple asset classes, helping to develop analytical capabilities, improve data accessibility, and deliver insights that support portfolio monitoring, investment research, and strategic decision-making.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop analytical tools, dashboards, and reporting solutions that support investment teams.
- Work with large and complex datasets from multiple internal and external sources.
- Design and maintain scalable data processes to improve research efficiency and data quality.
- Support investment analysis through statistical modelling, scenario analysis, and data-driven insights.
- Partner with investment, technology, and business stakeholders to deliver analytical solutions.
- Assist with the onboarding, validation, and enhancement of financial and market data sources.
- Contribute to the development of modern analytics capabilities and research workflows.
- Support continuous improvement of data management, automation, and reporting processes.
Candidate Requirements
- Bachelor's, Master's, or PhD in a quantitative discipline such as Mathematics, Statistics, Engineering, Computer Science, Economics, Finance, or a related field.
- Strong Python and SQL skills.
- Experience working with large datasets and analytical tools.
- Exposure to financial markets, investment management, asset management, banking, or capital markets environments.
- Experience developing data-driven solutions, automation tools, or analytical frameworks.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work with both technical and business stakeholders.
