Tla’amin Nation Chief Administrative Officer Role

Become the Chief Administrative Officer of Tla’amin Nation, overseeing operations and a significant budget while enhancing community engagement in the qathet area. As CAO, you will guide Tla’amin Nation’s strategic initiatives, reporting directly to the Executive Council while managing a diverse team of Directors and staff. The role emphasizes the operationalization of the Comprehensive Nation Plan and effective financial oversight. Building relationships internally and externally is vital to the progression of Tla’amin’s interests. Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead operational activities across Tla’amin Nation departments
  • Facilitate strategic plan implementation with Senior Management
  • Monitor departmental performance against set indicators
  • Ensure sound fiscal practices and risk management
  • Maintain constructive community relationships and engagement
Requirements:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Public Administration, or related field
  • Minimum of 10 years in progressive management roles
  • Strong understanding of Indigenous governance
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills
  • Valid B.C. Class 5 Driver’s Licence and Police Information Check
