About the Role

Madiba is seeking an experienced SAP BPC Support Lead to own production support for a live financial planning system. You will serve as the primary escalation point, manage an offshore support team, oversee the Cherwell support queue, and provide regular status reporting to management and stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

• Own and prioritize the Cherwell support queue — triaging and assigning incidents based on business impact and SLA requirements
• Manage and coordinate the offshore support team across day-to-day tasks, handoffs, and quality oversight
• Deliver regular status reports and close cycle schedules to management and business stakeholders
• Lead root cause analysis and drive resolution of production incidents
• Coordinate change delivery across DEV / QA / PROD landscapes
• Drive stability through month-end and quarter-end close cycles

Skills & Requirements

SAP BW — Core / Backend

• ADSOs, InfoObjects (attributes, hierarchies)
• DataSources — especially Flat File based
• Transformations, including ABAP routines
• DTPs and Process Chains: data loads, scheduling, and monitoring
• Nice to have: Open Hub, BADIs / ABAP enhancements

BPC Standard — Frontend (EPM / Excel)

• Strong EPM Excel Add-in experience
• EPM Reports, Input Templates, and formula proficiency
• Ability to troubleshoot user-built Excel workbooks
• Nice to have: VBA Macros

BPC Standard — Backend

• Environments, Models, Dimensions, and hierarchies
• Data Manager Packages, Script Logic, and Web Console administration
• Conversions and transformations
• Nice to have: BPC/BW Security, Dimension & Measure Formulas, support ABAP programs

Production Support & Leadership

• Proven production support experience with BPC Standard across DEV / QA / PROD
• Experience managing or coordinating offshore teams across time zones
• Comfortable producing status reports and dashboards for management
• Experience supporting month-end / quarter-end close cycles under tight SLAs
• Familiarity with BW operational tools: process chain logs, background jobs, error analysis
• Nice to have: go-live support, SAP migration exposure, FP&A concepts (budgeting, forecasting, variance analysis)

Data Skills

• Strong data-focused troubleshooting and reconciliation mindset
• Master data and transaction / fact data validation
