Main tasks 

• Assist in service preparation. 

• Welcome customers, providing attentive and high-quality customer service. 

• Help with table cleaning and clearing.  

• Present the menu and make suggestions, answer customers' questions about food and beverages on the menu.  

• Advise and make suggestions by highlighting available products. 

• Prepare and serve coffee, drinks, and food. 

• Ensure the cleanliness of the work area by applying MAPAQ regulations. 

• Process sales (food, drinks, and coffee) and handle cash register transactions. 

• Restock the counter. 

• Prepare the workspace, open the cash register, and be aware of special offers and promotions, etc.; 

• Serve customers, guide them, provide product information, and ensure their satisfaction; 

• Process transactions, receiving payments in cash, credit cards, debit cards; 

• Calculate amounts received at the end of their shift and reconcile with the total sales figure; 

• Close the cash register, produce the cash report, and perform deposits. 

• Any other tasks necessary for the smooth operation of the restaurant. 

SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS 

• Completed high school diploma. 

• Barista experience, an asset. 

• Proficiency in operating an espresso machine. 

• Proficiency with a POS system

• Interpersonal skills and a love for working with the public. 

• Sense of responsibility and punctuality. 

• Courtesy and politeness. 

• Bilingualism, French and English (you must communicate with an international clientele).

• Availability to work days, evenings, and weekends.
