Job Title: Bartender / Lead Mixologist
Location: Vaughan, ON
Position Type: Full-Time / Part-Time

About Us:
The bar at 255 by Alta Rossa Restaurant is a focal point of our guest experience. From pouring regional Italian wines to shaking up signature cocktails and serving guests at the wood, our bar team sets the energy for the entire room. We are looking for a charismatic, fast, and knowledgeable Bartender.

What You'll Do:

Craft & Service: Prepare classic and signature cocktails, pour wine, and serve beer for both bar guests and the dining room floor.
Guest Engagement: Provide top-tier hospitality to guests dining at the bar, driving repeat business.
Preparation: Handle bar prep (juices, syrups, garnishes) and keep the bar area immaculately clean and organized.
Cash Handling: Process payments accurately and manage bar inventory/restocking.
Compliance: Strictly enforce Smart Serve standards and legal drinking age limits.

What You Bring:

Experience: 2+ years of bartending experience in a busy, high-volume environment.
Expertise: Deep knowledge of spirits, wine pouring, and cocktail techniques (Italian wine/aperitivo knowledge is a huge plus).
Certification: Valid Smart Serve certification is required.
Efficiency: Ability to stay calm, fast, and friendly when the service well is backed up.
Presence: Outgoing personality with excellent communication and cash-handling skills.
