Chief Operating Officer Social Housing

Lead social housing operations at London & Middlesex Community Housing, guiding tenant services, maintenance, community safety, and tenancy support functions. This executive role serves London and Middlesex County.Reporting to the Chief Executive Officer, the Chief Operating Officer joins LMCH’s Senior Leadership Team. You will align services, resources, and people with strategic priorities while supporting financial stewardship. The mandate includes operational excellence, tenant experiences, and positive community outcomes.Key Responsibilities:
Provide strategic and operational leadership across tenant servicesOversee maintenance, repairs, and community safety operationsLead tenancy support and Rent-Geared-to-Income administrationBuild relationships with tenants, employees, and community partnersAdvance innovation, accountability, and continuous improvementRequirements:
University degree in business, public administration, social services, or related fieldMinimum 10 years of progressively responsible leadership experienceExperience leading complex operations and significant budgetsAbility to lead large, multi-functional teams in unionized environmentsStrong financial acumen, stakeholder engagement, and political acuityBring executive leadership, operational excellence, and stakeholder engagement to advance LMCH’s safe, affordable housing mission.
