JNE Consulting is a progressive, multi-disciplinary engineering services firm headquartered in Hamilton, ON, with additional offices in Pittsburgh, PA, Detroit, MI, and Merrillville, IN. We work with a diverse global client base, providing engineering, procurement, construction, and project management services from concept to completion.
We are currently seeking an Electrical Engineering Graduate working towards their P.Eng. to join our Hamilton team. If you’re passionate about engineering innovation, thrive in a collaborative environment, and are eager to develop your skills, this opportunity is for you!
As an Electrical Graduate working towards your P.Eng., you will:
- Review and interpret project requirements, flow sheets, and design layouts
- Perform routine CAD work and assist in drawing package preparation
- Write basic specifications and technical documentation
- Ensure compliance with company and industry standards, policies, and safety regulations
- Seek guidance from Senior Engineers, report scope changes, and contribute proactively to the team
- Conduct fieldwork, including working in confined spaces, elevated areas, and industrial environments
- Collaborate with other disciplines to review and understand existing drawings
What We’re Looking For
- Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering
- 1+ years of relevant work or co-op experience
- Working towards P.Eng.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently and within a team
- Proficiency in CAD and basic knowledge of Word, Excel, and Outlook
- Organized, detail-oriented, and eager to learn new technologies and software
Composition: Starting at $68,000–$83,000.
