CMM Programmer, Operator and Inspector

CMM Programmer, Operator and InspectorOur client is an established manufacturer of components for Aerospace, Defense, and Medical industries. They are looking for a CMM Programmer, Operator and Inspector to join their team on a permanent basis.Day shift, Monday through Thursday, 8:00 am to 4:30 pm, Friday 6:45am pm to 3:15 pmRole and Responsibilities:
- Program and/or operate CMM for inspection of precision machined components.
- Complete first-off and in-process inspections independently.
- Use appropriate manual inspection tools, fixtures and indicators.
- Generate and prepare CMM reports and AS9102 First Article Inspection reports.
- Read and interpret blue prints.
- Understand geometric dimensioning and tolerancing.
- All other duties as assigned.
- 5+ years' experience required (10+ years preferred).
- Capable of using CMM programming and operating software.
- Familiarity with CMM Manager software preferred.
- Certificate of qualification, college degree or other training in mechanical inspection an asset.
- Set-up and operation of manual CMM an asset.
- Previous aerospace experience preferred.
- Previous jobbing shop experience preferred.
