Job Description

• Working as part of the CTV Your Morning Winnipeg team, this person will be responsible for preparing and presenting weather and community information live and pre-recorded.
• Engage on-air in natural, lively banter with the morning show team.
• Work closely with producers and the Sales team to execute sponsored content, including engaging live or pre-taped interviews with clients, sponsors, and community partners.
• Create and update content across all digital platforms.
• Other related duties as assigned.

Critical Qualifications

• A degree or diploma from an accredited Broadcast Journalism program
• Minimum of 5 years of reporting and anchoring experience
• Strong journalistic, organizational and interpersonal skills and the ability to deal with multiple demands and pressures of on-air deadlines
• Proven ability as a live to air reporter
• Experience presenting weather on air
• Excellent writing skills and strong presentation and ad-libbing skills
• Ability to work well in a deadline-driven team environment
• Advanced social media skills required including Facebook, YouTube & TikTok applications
• Excellent computer literacy skills; experience in iNews & WSI an asset

Adequate knowledge of French is required for positions in Quebec.
