Renewables Engineer At Cima+ For Energy Transition

CIMA+

Drive sustainable change with CIMA+ as a Renewables Engineer focusing on electrification and renewable energy solutions. Lead projects across Western Canada while mentoring engineering teams.
As part of CIMA+’s Energy & Resources team, this role calls for a leader experienced in transportation electrification and renewable energy. The successful candidate will design and manage diverse projects, ensuring high-quality delivery and innovation in renewables like solar and wind. Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams, this position is essential for pushing the boundaries of energy solutions.
Key Responsibilities: - Mentor engineering teams in delivering complete project packages - Design and manage renewable energy projects like Solar and Wind - Develop Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) designs - Create utility interconnection packages with engineering analysis - Participate in client meetings and oversee project execution
Requirements: - Degree in Engineering with focus on Renewable Energy - 10+ years of engineering experience, 5 in relevant fields - Professional Engineer registration in Canada - Strong project management skills with technical proficiency - Passionate about energy transition and innovative solutions
