What You'll Be Doing
As a Traveling Wind Turbine Technician, you will support wind farm operations and projects throughout Canada. Every assignment brings new locations, new teams, and new technical challenges.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Diagnosing, troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining wind turbines
- Supporting turbine installation and construction projects
- Conducting inspections and ensuring a strong safety culture
- Working at heights and in varying environmental conditions
- Collaborating with diverse teams across multiple sites
- Managing travel logistics and project documentation
- Supporting the complete lifecycle of turbine operations
This role is ideal for professionals who enjoy continuous learning, diverse work environments, and extensive travel.
What We're Looking For
- Bilingual in English and French
- Minimum 6 months of wind technician training, 1 year of wind turbine experience, or 2 years of mechanical or electrical experience
- Strong troubleshooting and problem solving abilities
- Team oriented mindset with a positive attitude
- Comfortable working at heights and outdoors in changing conditions
- Valid driver's license and eligibility to work in Canada
- High school diploma or equivalent
