Qualified candidates must possess a valid Canadian Class 5 driver's licence, valid First Aid/AED certification, and successfully complete required physical, medical, and psychological assessments, including SOPAT/PARE/POPAT standards. The role requires shift work, travel, overnight stays, and successful completion of commercial vehicle enforcement, inspection, and use-of-force training. Strong communication, critical thinking, digital, data literacy, and decision-making skills are required.

Responsibilities include inspecting commercial vehicles and operators for safety, weights, dimensions, permits, registration, insurance, and licensing compliance; conducting investigations and inspections; preparing reports; laying charges; and appearing in court as required.
