Are you an artist looking to teach your art medium?
Our art class event, "Get Art Active" with ElderActive, is focused on promoting being active in mind and spirit and fostering community through learning art. Get Art Active will host/deliver a total of 10 art classes this Fall, with different art mediums and a variety of local artists teaching the classes.
Successful applicants will teach a 2-hour art class to a max of 10 students (Aged 55+). All Artists will be paid $200 for their time. Supply costs covered by ElderActive.
Previous art teaching experience an asset but not a requirement.
Artists of various levels and different art mediums are encouraged to apply.
Indigenous artists encouraged to apply.
LGBTQIA2S+ artists encouraged to apply.
