Outpatient Mental Health Social Worker

Join the Ambulatory Outpatient Mental Health Division to provide crucial support as a Social Worker. Your role will focus on crisis assessments, family counseling, and inter-disciplinary collaboration. In this position, you will deliver comprehensive social work services to adults and adolescents, assisting those in crisis situations. Using your strong communication and organizational skills, you will facilitate family counseling, conduct psycho-educational groups, and ensure timely referrals to community resources. Key Responsibilities:
- Provide comprehensive crisis assessments for patients
- Co-facilitate psycho-educational groups for families
- Conduct time-limited family counseling sessions
- Coordinate referrals to community resources
- Collaborate with colleagues within an interdisciplinary team
- Master’s Degree in Social Work required
- 3-5 years experience in outpatient mental health
- Expertise in crisis intervention and family therapy
- Strong knowledge of CBT and DBT principles
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
