Job Overview Goodwin's Greenhouses Ltd is a dynamic and customer-focused organization dedicated to providing top-notch products and services. We are seeking a motivated and skilled Front Desk Salesperson to join our team. If you have a passion for customer service and a strong background in sales, we want to hear from you!
Responsibilities
- Greet and assist customers at the front desk or on the phone with a friendly and professional demeanor.
- Provide information about products and services and address customer inquiries effectively.
- Utilize Sage 50 for processing sales transactions, managing inventory, and maintaining accurate records.
- Ability to confidently use Microsoft Office and Google Suite.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure a smooth and efficient sales process.
- Maintain a clean and organized front desk area.
- Perform data entry tasks accurately, maintaining up-to-date customer and supplier records.
- Handle administrative duties such as filing, organizing documents, and managing correspondence.
- Proofread documents for accuracy before distribution or filing.
- Respond to customer inquiries via phone, in-person or electronically with professionalism and courtesy.
Skills
- Proven experience in a sales or customer service role
- Ability work independently and with a team
- Proficiency in Sage 50 and Microsoft Excel is required.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Competence in creating social media blasts to encourage sales and interactions
- Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment.
- Attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
- Capable of basic math.
- A positive attitude and a willingness to learn.
