C.E Technology Solutions Ltd. is a growing low-voltage integration company specializing in security systems, access control, network infrastructure, structured cabling and much more for commercial and institutional clients across Ontario. We work alongside general contractors, electrical contractors, and facility owners to deliver high-quality, end-to-end technology solutions on projects of all sizes.
As we continue to expand our commercial footprint, we are looking for a driven, personable, and commercially savvy Sales Representative to join our team and help us grow our client base and project pipeline.
Position Overview
This is a fast-paced, in-person sales role focused on building and maintaining relationships with general contractors, electrical contractors, property managers, facility owners, and other commercial clients. You will be the face of C.E Technology Solutions in the field — identifying new opportunities, following up on leads, attending site meetings, and helping bring projects from first contact to signed contract. This role is not a desk job; you will be out in the field the majority of the time, and we are looking for someone who thrives in that environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with new and existing commercial clients, including general contractors, electrical contractors, facility managers, and property owners.
- Proactively identify and pursue new business opportunities through networking, cold outreach, referrals, and site visits.
- Meet with clients on-site to understand project requirements and work with our technical team to develop accurate, competitive bids and proposals.
- Follow up on submitted bids and proposals, address client questions, and work to secure project awards.
- Represent C.E Technology Solutions at trade shows, industry events, and networking functions — including events outside regular business hours.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of the company's service offerings, products, and capabilities to effectively communicate value to clients.
- Track all sales activity, leads, and opportunities and provide regular updates to management.
- Collaborate closely with the operations and project management team to ensure smooth project hand-off after award.
- Travel to client sites, project locations, events, and trade shows as required — regional travel is a regular part of this role.
- Identify and report on market trends, competitor activity, and new market segments that may present growth opportunities for the company.
What We Are Looking For
Experience & Background
- Proven experience in a commercial sales role, ideally within the construction, electrical, low-voltage, technology, or related trades industry.
- Established network of contacts within the commercial construction or facilities management space is a strong asset.
- Experience reading and understanding commercial project scopes, drawings, or specifications is considered an advantage.
- Previous experience in B2B sales with a focus on relationship-building and consultative selling.
Knowledge & Technical Interest
- A genuine interest in technology and how it is applied in commercial and institutional environments.
- Familiarity with security systems, access control, network infrastructure, or low-voltage systems is a strong asset — full technical training will be provided.
- Comfortable discussing technical concepts with clients at a high level and knowing when to bring in technical support.
Personal Qualities
- Self-motivated, results-driven, and comfortable working independently in the field with minimal supervision.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills — you build trust quickly and maintain it.
- Highly organized with strong follow-through — you don't let leads fall through the cracks.
- Professional presentation and conduct at all times when representing the company.
- Flexible and adaptable — comfortable attending events and client meetings outside of regular business hours when required.
- Valid driver's license and reliable vehicle required. Travel expenses reimbursed per company policy.
