ABOUT THE OPPORTUNITY:
McDougall Energy is looking for a Credit Supervisor to join our Credit team. Reporting to the Credit Manager, the Credit Supervisor assists the Credit manager in supporting the collection process, including monitoring accounts for compliance, reviewing, and investigating all past due accounts and contacting customers regarding collection of outstanding payments to minimize outstanding debt, while ensuring customer satisfaction and retention. The Credit Supervisor is responsible for:
- Supervise, coach and mentor a team of credit representatives, provide guidance and support to reach corporate KPI's.
- Developing the department's weekly schedule and dispatching all departmental workflow via multiple inbox management in conjunction with corporate SLA'
- Organize, prioritize and assign department workflow through multiple inbox management.
- Accountable for collecting on Key account portfolios
- Responsible for Training and mentoring team
- Ensure knowledge and compliance of the Company's credit policies.
- Communicate with customers regarding past due balances.
- Prepare and submit weekly and monthly analytical reports.
- Interface and communicate with other departments and personnel as necessary.
ABOUT YOU:
The ideal candidate will have:
- Diploma in finance, accounting, business or a related field (or equivalent work experience)
- Minimum five (5) years of experience in credit and collections
- Supervisory or leadership experience is an asset
- Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel is essential
- Experience with third-party collections is required and
- Experience with online billing portals is an asset
- Knowledge of credit risk assessment and collections strategies
