Join WSP as a Lead Engineering Drafter/Designer and support critical nuclear infrastructure projects in the Greater Toronto Area. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to create detailed technical drawings and models. In this senior role, you'll leverage your 15+ years of experience in engineering drafting focused on nuclear facilities. Your expertise in 3D AutoCAD and SolidWorks will be essential in producing high-quality deliverables adhering to project standards and regulatory requirements. This position will emphasize accuracy and quality across all design outputs while fostering collaboration among engineers and designers. Key Responsibilities:
- Lead development of engineering drawings and 3D models
- Collaborate with engineers to translate concepts into documents
- Ensure alignment with safety and compliance standards
- Review and revise drawings based on feedback
- Mentor junior team members and shape drafting standards
- Diploma or degree in Engineering Design or related field
- 15+ years of drafting and design experience
- Strong knowledge of nuclear codes and standards
- Proficiency in 3D modeling software
- Ability to achieve Security Clearance for nuclear projects
