Lead Solutions Engineer - West

Our Solutions Engineering team plays a vital role by partnering closely with our customers as well as with Sales, Customer Success, and Product to ensure mutual, long-term success. We aim to deeply understand our customers’ strategic objectives and technical requirements. We architect and demonstrate innovative solutions that unlock meaningful business value for our customers. Additionally, we champion the voice of our customers by understanding market trends and influencing product direction.

We’re looking for a Lead Solutions Engineer to inspire our customers by helping them understand the art of what’s possible with the Webflow platform. You will tell our differentiated story that shows how our solution helps them meet their business objectives.

For sales roles, the ranges provided are the role’s On Target Earnings (“OTE”) ranges, meaning that the ranges include both the sales commissions target and annual base salary for the role. This salary range may be inclusive of several career levels at Webflow and will be narrowed during the interview process based on a number of factors, including the candidate’s market location, job related experience, knowledge, qualifications, and skills. As a Lead Solutions Engineer, you’ll …

• Partner with 2-3 Account Executives & support multiple active customer opportunities across our growing Enterprise segment, proactively communicating with stakeholders to ensure on-time solution delivery


• Guide customers through the evaluation process of Webflow ensuring that our solution meets key business objectives and technical requirements


• Conduct deep discovery, solution design, technical validation and business case development


• Present effective stories through demonstrations that highlight the benefits of using Webflow to solve key customer objectives and challenges


• Lead hands-on workshops and trials where appropriate


• Influence product direction for short & long-term success in Enterprise by representing the customer voice


• Lead strategic cross-functional initiatives that are key to advancing Webflow’s mission of bringing development superpowers to everyone


• Travel up to 25%

About you:

Requirements:

• 6+ years of experience as a Solutions Engineer, ideally in the web development space


• Exhibit an advanced understanding of APIs and web programming languages — HTML, CSS & JavaScript


• Take a consultative approach and are passionate about helping customers solve problems


• Consistently demonstrate strong storytelling within the context of discovery and/or product demo sessions
