What you’ll accomplish with us

As an Investment Analyst (High yield bonds and equity), you’ll be at the core of our mission. Reporting to the Senior Vice President, Investments – Strategic Family of Funds, you will be a member of the investment team managing approximately $4.8 billion in assets within iAGAM.

• Performing quantitative and qualitative research and analysis of North American high yield bond and equity markets.
• Evaluating investments and opportunities based on the iAGAM’s Strategic Funds Investment Process.
• Ad hoc research, analysis and portfolio related project work.
• Developing and updating valuation and market related investment models.
• Assisting in the development of monthly/quarterly/annual previews and summaries for clients.
• Evaluation, analysis and preparation of periodic reports pertaining to portfolio performance and attribution of returns and general day‑to‑day discussions on key investment developments.
• Participating in the sales process by supporting various distribution networks.

We’re looking for someone who:

• Has an undergraduate degree (required).
• Has 3‑8 years of relevant work experience related to investment analysis.
• Experience in fixed income is advantageous.
• Is recognized for exceptional analytical research skills, curiosity and intellectual rigor, ability to work in a team environment, react quickly under pressure and possesses excellent communication skills.
• Stands out for rigor in analysis and in constructing valuation models.
• Has a genuine passion for investment analysis.
• Is self‑motivated and able to work independently.

The typical hiring range for this position is between $100,000 and $140,000 CAD per year; the base salary offered may vary depending on knowledge, skills, years of experience, and internal equity related to the role.
