We're a family in south Edmonton looking for a warm, dependable nanny to join us in early September. This is a permanent, live-out position, Monday to Friday from 1:00 pm to 9:00 pm (40 hours per week), with afternoons, supper, and bedtime routines as the heart of the role. We have three young daughters. Our eldest is starting grade one and loves the outdoors, swimming, and arts and crafts. Our middle daughter has additional support needs — she's non-verbal and requires hands-on help with feeding, dressing, and diapering, along with supervision on stairs (full details shared at interview; she's a sweet girl who responds well to redirection and a calm, patient approach). Our youngest is an infant and is cared for by Mom, who is home during your hours, so you'll often be working alongside her rather than solo with all three. A typical shift includes engaging the older girls with activities, reading, and outdoor play, helping prepare them for supper, feeding and diaper changes as needed, and leading the bedtime routine with hands-on support for our middle daughter. Duties are 80–90% childcare, with light tidying limited to the spaces you use with the kids — no housekeeping. We're looking for someone with solid childcare references and experience supporting a child with developmental delays (educational assistant, respite, or similar experience is a strong asset). Current first aid and CPR are required, along with a criminal record check with vulnerable sector screening. Two of our girls have food allergies, one severe, so comfort with allergy management and EpiPen use is important. We offer $25.00 per hour and a consistent weekday schedule.
