What You’ll Do
As a professional Security Guard, you’ll safeguard people, places, and assets at some of Canada’s most important institutions. Positions include:
- Patrollers & Escorts
- Access Control Officers
- Security Control Room Operators
- Console Operators
- Mobile Patrol Operators
- Dispatchers
- Site Supervisors
This isn’t a one-size-fits-all job, you’ll work in dynamic environments, mastering real-world problem-solving and communication skills that go beyond the desk.

Must-Haves
- Availability for rotating shifts (days, evenings, overnights, weekends, and holidays)
- Ability to obtain and maintain a Secret Security Clearance
- Strong computer skills
- Two pieces of valid Canadian government-issued photo ID (excluding health cards)
Nice to Haves
- Availability for rotating shifts (days, with focus on evenings, overnights, weekends, and holidays)
- Ability to obtain and maintain a Secret Security Clearance from PSPC
- Strong computer skills
- Two pieces of valid Canadian government-issued photo ID (excluding health cards). IDs are necessary to initiate your security clearance applications, as well as obtain your provincial security guard licence
- Valid provincial Security Guard Licence
- Bilingual (English/French)
- Use of Force Certification
- Veteran status or Police Foundations Program
