Electrical Controls Engineer Packaging Automation

Design complete electrical systems and PLC/HMI programs with Zarpac in Oakville, supporting complex automated packaging environments. Apply strong programming expertise to designs that reach build, testing, and commissioning.As an Electrical Engineer at Zarpac, you will lead electrical and controls design packages for machines and full packaging lines. The work includes schematics, power distribution, system architecture, and design documentation. You will interpret customer requirements while supporting integration with controls teams and aligning work with standards.Key Responsibilities:
Lead electrical and controls design package developmentCreate schematics and PLC/HMI programsOwn machine and packaging line electrical designsDesign or coordinate MCC and PDP power distributionProvide technical guidance during commissioningRequirements:
Seven or more years in Electrical or Controls EngineeringBachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalentPLC programming experience with Allen Bradley or SiemensAutoCAD or equivalent design tool proficiencyIndustrial equipment, packaging, or manufacturing experienceBring electrical design, PLC programming, and packaging automation expertise to Zarpac's Oakville engineering team.
