Lead the legal function as Senior Privacy & Commercial Counsel at Prospeo. This remote position demands expertise in GDPR, CCPA, and commercial contracts while working closely with the co-founders. As a pivotal legal hire for Prospeo, you will manage data privacy operations and commercial contracts, ensuring compliance and risk mitigation as we grow. This hands-on role grants you autonomy to handle day-to-day privacy, litigation, and regulatory matters. Your expertise with AI tools will enhance your ability to navigate complex legal scenarios seamlessly. Key Responsibilities:
• Run daily privacy programs across multiple regulations
• Draft and negotiate various commercial contracts
• Serve as internal contact for litigation and regulation
• Manage vendor due diligence and DPA negotiations
• Advise executives on legal risks for company strategies Requirements:
• Law degree and bar admission in Canada
• CIPP/E certification required
• 4+ years in commercial and privacy law
• Experience with GDPR and CCPA compliance
• Proficient in using AI legal tools Drive security and compliance at Prospeo while utilizing your legal expertise and innovative tools.
