Job Description
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, enhance, and maintain React-based web applications using modern frameworks and libraries.
- Lead front-end architecture decisions, including component design, state management, and overall application structure.
- Analyse requirements and provide estimates for new front-end features and enhancements.
- Resolve UI-related issues including browser compatibility, performance optimization, accessibility, and defects from system testing and UAT.
- Collaborate closely with Project Managers, Business Analysts, UX designers, and backend teams to refine user stories and technical requirements.
- Deliver front-end solutions using Agile/Scrum methodologies.
- Enforce best practices for code quality, security, maintainability, and performance.
- Demonstrate strong ownership, adaptability, and accountability within a complex technical environment.
- 7+ years of hands-on software development experience with a strong focus on front-end/UI engineering.
- 3+ years of experience in a Senior React Developer or Lead React role.
- Extensive experience with React (17/18), JavaScript (ES6+), TypeScript, HTML5, CSS3, and responsive design.
- Experience with state management solutions such as Redux or Context API.
- Experience with CMS platforms (e.g., Contentful) and personalization tools (e.g., Ninetailed).
- Familiarity with UI frameworks such as Material UI, Ant Design, or similar.
- Experience integrating front-end applications with backend systems via RESTful APIs.
- Working knowledge of modern build tools including Webpack, Babel, and NPM/Yarn.
- Degree or diploma in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
