They are responsible for performing and supporting a variety of law related activities that does not require a law degree.What You’ll Do:• Transcribe written and dictated legal documents and correspondence.• Assist in the preparation of standard checklists, templates, and policies and maintaining the contract database.• Contribute to document and contract preparation. This includes brokerage contracts, agreements,amendments, non-disclosure agreements, retention agreements, etc.• Assemble contract documents for execution. Evaluate and mitigate contractual risk.• Maintain and file all legal documents and correspondence by the respective deadline.• Prepare legal bills and mail for processing and distribution. Assist in arranging the circulation of documents forsignatures.• Schedule and maintain the calendars of the team. This includes appointments, meetings, trials, and court dates.Coordinate travel and related arrangements.• Answer all incoming inquiries and ad hoc requests.• Support legal team on special projects.• Gather and analyze data to identify and solve complex problems that arise with little or no precedent. Mayrecommend new techniques.• Impact own team and other teams whose work activities are closely related.• Suggest improvements to existing processes and solutions to improve the efficiency of the team.What You’ll Need:• High School Diploma or GED with 3-4 years of job-related experience. A paralegal certificate from a schoolapproved by the American Bar Association (ABA). Preferred candidate has Certified Legal Assistantdesignation or passed the Paralegal Advanced Competency Exam.• A comprehensive understanding of a range of processes, procedures, systems, and concepts within own jobfunction is required.• Ability to evaluate and communicate unusual and/or complex content in a concise and logical way. Excellentverbal and written communication skills.• In-depth knowledge of Microsoft Office products.
