Maintenance Worker

Staffmax is partnering with our client to recruit a skilled and reliable Maintenance Worker for an 8-month contract within a busy manufacturing facility. This role is ideal for someone with hands-on experience in equipment maintenance and a strong commitment to minimizing downtime and ensuring operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform routine and preventive maintenance on production machinery and facility equipment

• Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems

• Maintain accurate logs of maintenance activities and equipment history

• Support facility repairs, including HVAC, lighting, and plumbing systems

• Ensure all equipment operates safely and in compliance with company standards

• Respond promptly to breakdowns and urgent repair requests

• Collaborate with production teams to coordinate and schedule maintenance activities

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 2 years’ experience in industrial or manufacturing maintenance

• Solid knowledge of mechanical, electrical, or hydraulic systems

• Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, schematics, and blueprints

• Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills

• Self-motivated, safety-conscious, and capable of working independently

• Trade certification or equivalent training is considered an asset
