Medical Device Technician II Role
Sunnybrook Health Sciences Centre
Elevate surgical support with our Technician II position in the Medical Device Reprocessing Centre. This role focuses on sterilization operations, decontamination, and case cart preparation for various needs. We are seeking a qualified Technician II to enhance surgical services at our Medical Device Reprocessing Centre. Candidates must have an Approved Sterile Supply Processing Certificate and solid instrumentation experience. Prior Tech 2 experience in the MDRC is a significant advantage, ensuring the delivery of high-quality sterile supplies and instrumentation. Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare surgical case carts for diverse situations
- Operate decontamination and sterilization equipment
- Package sterile instrumentation and supplies accurately
- Conduct deliveries and pickups of necessary supplies
- Uphold all quality indicators throughout the process
- Approved Sterile Supply Processing Certificate
- Essential instrumentation experience required
- Previous Tech 2 experience in MDRC prioritized
- Knowledge of surgical services and instrumentation
- Strong organizational and computer skills
