Senior Subcontracts Manager at McDermott
McDermott International, Ltd
Lead and develop subcontract plans as a Senior Manager at McDermott. Oversee resource allocation and manage complex commercial aspects of subcontracting processes. As the Senior Manager Subcontracts, you will oversee multiple teams to accomplish business and organizational priorities. This senior role requires at least 15 years of experience and a strong understanding of subcontract policies within the oil and gas sector. You will also be responsible for resolving operational challenges and supporting projects to enhance financial objectives. Key Responsibilities:
- Manage commercial aspects from inquiry to closeout
- Negotiate terms and conditions with suppliers
- Oversee liaison with Legal and Project Controls
- Develop subcontract sourcing documentation with Engineering
- Supervise daily activities of technical and support staff
- Bachelor's Degree in Supply Chain, Business, or Engineering preferred
- Minimum 15 years of relevant subcontract experience
- 10 years in oil and gas with EPC experience
- Excellent communication skills required
- Proven ability to develop complex subcontracts
