Key Responsibilities
Meal Preparation: Cook a wide range of menu items, from eggs, pancakes in the morning to steaks, seafood, and slow-roasted dishes in the evening.
Station Setup & Breakdown: Prep ingredients and set up the line before service, and thoroughly clean, sanitize, and close down the kitchen at night.
Quality & Portion Control: Ensure all plates meet established recipes, portion sizes, taste standards, and visual presentation guidelines.
Food Safety Compliance: Maintain strict adherence to health department regulations, including proper food storage, temperature monitoring, and cross-contamination prevention.
Required Skills
Technical Cooking: Proficiency in various techniques such as frying, grilling, sauting, poaching, pizza making.
Speed and Stamina: Ability to work efficiently under pressure during high-volume rush hours while standing for long periods.
Time Management: Excellent multitasking skills to coordinate different cooking times so entire tables are served simultaneously.
