The Laval Police Service has over 900 members, including police officers and civilian employees. These individuals are committed and dedicated to ensuring the safety of approximately 450,000 residents of Laval. Selection process

It includes, among other things, a pre-selection aptitude inventory, an interview, a psychometric assessment, a security clearance, a medical examination, and a comprehensive review of the file.

The ideal profile for us

• Be a Canadian citizen;
• Not have been convicted, anywhere, of an act or omission that the Criminal Code describes as an offense;
• Hold a valid class 4A driver's license or be in the process of obtaining one;
• Hold a diploma from the initial training program for patrol officers (PFIPG) from the École nationale de police du Québec (ÉNPQ) or have obtained an equivalency from the ÉNPQ, or have your ENPQ cohort number;
