Data Center Infrastructure Operations Manager (Burnaby)

eStruxture is seeking a Data Centre Infrastructure Manager in Vancouver to lead operations and ensure the effective functioning of mechanical and electrical systems. You’ll be integral in optimizing facility operations.

This role involves managing the daily operations of vital infrastructure components, ensuring systems like UPS and chillers run efficiently. Your on‑call availability is crucial for rapid incident response, while your leadership will drive energy‑saving measures and compliance.

Key Responsibilities

Oversee the operations of UPS, generators, and chillers

Perform proactive monitoring using BMS/EPMS systems

Lead energy efficiency initiatives and preventative maintenance

Manage vendor contracts and budget activities

Implement corrective actions post‑incident evaluations

Requirements

5+ years of experience in critical system management

Expertise with mechanical and electrical systems

Comfortable lifting 50 lbs and working in tight spaces

Hands‑on knowledge of data center practices

Familiarity with building code standards like ASHRAE
