Compensation & Benefits

Pay at Intact is about much more than just salary. The compensation package includes a pay structure based on experience, skills and contribution, a salary range of 128,300 to 156,800 per year for a 35‑hour workweek, an annual bonus target of 15% with the potential to double the target depending on performance, and an Employee Share Purchase Plan with Intact matching 50% of net shares. Additional benefits include flexible work arrangements and a hybrid work model, the option to purchase up to 5 extra days off per year, a Wellness account, telemedicine, and a share plan that offers up to 12% of salary or more. About the Role

• Work as a senior AI architect within the DataLab team, collaborating with Data Science and AI Developers.
• Define and evolve the Data & AI platform architecture, ensuring efficient evolution, maintenance, and support through automation, security, and governance best practices.
• Collaborate with technical teams across the organization to develop solutions that meet customer needs.
• Deliver architecture blueprints and implementation strategies that satisfy security and data protection standards.
• Align architectures with the corporate vision and objectives, proposing innovative approaches to problem solving.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in information technology, software engineering or related field, or equivalent experience.
• At least 5 years of significant software development experience.
• At least 5 years of experience in an application or solution architecture role.
• Knowledge of DevOps paradigms including DataOps, DevSecOps, MLOps.
• Familiarity with AWS services such as Lambda, S3, DynamoDB, API Gateway, ALB, CloudWatch, ECS/Fargate, and AWS Bedrock.
• Experience with GCP services such as Cloud Run, Compute Engine, Cloud Storage, BigQuery.
• Experience with ML/AI technologies such as Databricks, Snowflake, AWS SageMaker, Vertex AI.
• Knowledge of Contact Center AI services (e.g., DialogFlow, AgentAssist) is an asset.
• Passion for building highly resilient, secure, and scalable AI applications.
• Strong communication skills to explain technical concepts to non‑technical stakeholders.
• Proven ability to manage priorities and work effectively in multidisciplinary teams.
• Experience with architecture frameworks such as TOGAF is an asset.

Additional Requirements

For candidates located in Quebec, bilingualism in French and English is required due to regular interaction with English‑speaking colleagues across the country.
